SUBJECT :— Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the period April, 1973- March, I974. (Amendment No. 80)

No. 13-ITC(PN)/74.—Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Ex- porters as contained in the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book—Volume II) for the period April, 1973—March, 1974, published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 46-ITC(PN)/73, dated the 2nd April, 1973.

2. The following items are classifiable under the Product Groups mentioned below and fall under S. Nos. shown against each :—

3. The above items may be inserted alphabetically at appropriate places in classification of Export Products in Section 17 of the above Red Book under the said Product Groups.

4. The following amendments may be made in the classification of Export Products in Section IV of the above Red Book—

(i) The existing entry "Malleable iron pipe fittings (galvanised). .. .A.23.8*' appearing at page (xvi) of Section IV may be amended to read "Maleablc iron pipe fittings (galvanised) A.7-i.(i)."

(ii) The existing entry "Malleable iron pipe fittings (ungalvanised). .A.23.8 "appearing at page (xvi) of Section IV may be amended to read as "Malleable iron pipe fittings (ungalvanised) .. A.7-i(ii)."

(iii) The existing entry "Micro-Ohmmeters> Milliometers... .A.81.2" at page (xvi) of Section IV may be amended to read as "Micro-Ohmmeters, Millohmetcrs.. .A.91.1" (iv) The existing entry "Quarter chain covers. , .. A.25" at page (xx) of Section IV may be amended to read as f'Bicyclc chain guard (quarter chain cover/oil bath gear case A.152.2."
