New Delhi , the 23rd February 1274
No. DRAWBACK/ PN - 4/ 74.- Under rule 4 of the Customs and Central Excise Duties Draw- back Rules , 1971 (Notification No. 52 /F . No. 602 / 2 / 70 - DBK, published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary , dated the 25th August , 1971 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK /PN - 1 , dated the 15th October , 1971 :-'
For sub - serial No. 2508 and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted:-

2508(a) Sisal Ropes manufactured in accordance with BSS 2052/1953 .
Rs . 1248.00 ( Rupees one thou- sand two hundred and forty eight only) per tonne .
Provided that the above rate shall apply only if the manufacturer certifies on the Shipping Bill at the time of export and also produces evidence to the satisfaction of the Collector of Customs that such sisal ropes have been wholly manufactured from grades 1 , 3 - L , 2 , 3 and UG of sisal fibre .

(b) Manila Ropes manufactured in accordance with BSS 2052/1953.
Rs . 1218 10 (Rupees one thousand two hundred eighteen and paise ten only) per tonne .
Provided that the above rate shall apply only if the manufacturer certifies on the Shipping Bill at the time of export and also produces evidence to the satisfaction of the Collector of Customs that such manila ropes have been wholly manufactured from grades S1 , S2 , S3 , G , I and J. K. varieties of manila hemp fibres .
(c) All other ropes , lines , cordages , twines and sligns made wholly or partly from sisal fibre and/ or manila hemp fibre .
(1 ) Sisal fibre content .
Rs . 900 50 ( Rupees nine hundred and paise fifty only ) per tonne .
(ii) Manila hemp fibre content .
Rs . 1186.95 (Rupees one thousand one hundred eighty six and paise ninety five only ) per tonne .
The above Public Notice shall be deemed to have come into force on the Ist day of December 1973 and shall remain in force till 31st day of May , 1974 .

सं ० प्रतिश्प्रवायगी/ पी ० एम०-4/ 74.- सीमाशुल्क तथा केन्द्रीय उत्पादनशुल्क प्रतिअदायगी नियमावली, 1971 , ( भारत के राजपत्व, अनाधारण , दिनांक 25 अगस्त, 1971 में प्रकाशित अधि- सूचना सं ० 52/ फ़ा ० सं ० 602/ 2/ 70-7० अ ० ) के नियम 4 के अधीन, केन्द्रीय सरकार सार्व- जनिक सूचना सं ० प्रतिश्रदायगी /पी ० एन ०1. दिनांक 15 अक्तवर , 1971 में प्रकाशित सारणी में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है

परन्तु उपर्युक्त दर केवल तब लागू होगी र्याद निर्माता पोत परिवहन बिल पर , निर्यात के समय यह प्रमाणित करता है तथा सीमाशुल्क समाहर्ता के इत्मीनान का साक्ष्य प्रस्तुत करता है कि इस प्रकार के सिसल - रसों का निर्माण पूर्णतया सिसन्न तन्तु के ग्रेड 1, 3- एल ० , 2, 3 और यू ० जी ० मे किया गया

) बी० एस ०एम ० 2052/1953 अनुसार निर्मित मनीला रस्मे के 1218.10 रु ० ( केवल एक हजार दो सौ अठारह रुपये और दस पैसे) प्रति उन ।
परन्तु यह दर केवल तब लागू होगी यदि निर्माता पोत परिवहन बिल पर निर्यात के समय यह प्रमाणित करता है तथा सीमाशुल्क समाहर्ता के इत्मीनान का साक्ष्य प्रस्तुत करता है कि मनीला के इस प्रकार के रस्सों का निर्माण पूर्णतया मनीला खन तन्तुओं के ग्रेड एम ० 1 , एस ० 2, एस० 3, जी० आई ० और जे ० के ० किस्मों में किया गया है ।
(ग ) सिसल तन्तु तथा/अथवा मनीला सन तन्तु से पूर्णतः अथवा अंशत. निर्मित सभी अन्य रस्में, लाइनें. जहाजी रस्से, ट्वाइन तथा स्लिंग्स
( i ) सिसल तन्तु अन्तर्वस्तु
900.50 रु ० ( केवल नौ सौ रुपये और पचास पैसे ) प्रति टन ।
( ii ) मनीला सन तन्तु अन्तर्वस्तु 1186.95 रुपये ( केवल एक हजार एक सौ छियासी रुपये और पंचानवे पैसे) प्रति टन ।
उपर्थक्त मार्वजनिक सूचना, दिसम्बर, 1973 के पहले दिन में लागू हुई समझी जायगी और मई 1974 के 31वें दिन नक लागू रहेगी ।
