NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 25th May 1974
G.S.R. 248 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( c) of sub- section ( 2) of section 34 of the Coal Mines ( Nationalisation ) Act , 1973 ( 26 of 1973 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules , namely:-
1. Short title and commencement .- ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Coal Mines ( Statement of Accounts ) Rules , 1974.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Preparation of statement of accounts .- ( 1 ) The statement of accounts and the supplementary statement of accounts referred to in section 19 of the Coal Mines (Nationalisation ) Act , 1973 (26 of 1973 ) shall be prepared by
( 1) the Coal Mines Authority , a Government company, in respect of all the coal mines except those mines specified against serial numbers 45 to 219 ( both inclusive ) , 227 , 235 , 237 , 260 , 265 , 275 , 441 , 483 and 588 , and
( ii ) The Bharat Coking Coal Limited , a Government company . in respect of the coal mines specifled against serial numbers 45 to 219 (both inclusive ) , 227 , 235, 237 , 260 , 265 , 275 , 441 , 483 and 583
of the Schedule to the said Act , in the form set , out in the Appendix to these rules, by the 30th day of June, 1974.
(2) Any supplementary statement of accounts shall be prepared by the Government company concerned and furnished to the owner of the coal mine concerned at intervals of one month each .

सा० फा ० नि ० 248 ( *) . -कोयला खान राष्ट्रीयकरण ) अधिनियम, 1973 ( 1973 का 26) की धारा 34 की उपधारा ( 2 ) के खण्ड ( ग ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुये, केन्द्रीय सरकार, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थातः-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम कोयला खान (लेखाम्रों का विवरण ) नियम , 1974 है ।
( 2 ) ये नियम राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगे ।
2. लेखाओं का विवरण तैयार किया जाना ( 1 ) कोयला खान ( राष्ट्रीयकरण ) अधिनियम 1973 ( 1973 का 26 ) की धारा 19 में निर्दिष्ट लेखाओं का विवरण और लेखाम्रों का अनुपूरक विवरण उक्त अधिनियम की अनुसूची की, --
(i ) क्रम संख्या 45 से 219 ( जिनमें ये दोनों क्रम संख्याएं सस्मिलित हैं ) , 227 , 235 , 237 , 260 , 265 , 275 , 441 , 483 और 583 के सामने विनिदिष्ट कोयला खानों के सिवाय सभी कोयला खानों की बाबत , कोयला खान प्राधिकरण , जो एक सरकारी कम्पनी है , और
( ii ) क्रम संख्या 45 से 219 ( जिनमें ये दोनों क्रम संख्याएं सम्मिलित हैं ) , 227 , 235 , 237 , 260 , 265 , 275 , 441 , 483 ौर 583 के सामने विनिविष्ट कोयला खानों की बाबत , भारत कोकिंग कोल लिमिटेड , जो एक सरकारी कम्पनी है, द्वारा इन नियमों के परिशिष्ट में उपणित प्ररूप में , 30 जून , 1974 तक तैयार किया जाएगा ।
( 2 ) सम्पूक्त सरकारी कम्पनी द्वारा एक एक मास के अन्तरालों पर, लेखाओं का कोई अनुपूरक विवरण तैयार किया जायगा और सम्पुक्त कोयला खान के स्वामी को दिया जाएगा ।
