NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th June 1974
G.S.R. 257 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of sec- tion 6 of the Burn Company and Indian Standard Wagon Company (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1973 (57 of 1973), the Central Government hereby specifies that the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) shall continue to apply to the Burn and Company Limited and the Indian Standard Wagon Company Limited subject to the exception that section 175 thereof shall not, apply to the said com- panies, and directs that the Chairman of a general meeting of the said companies shall be a person nominated by the Central Government by notification in the Official Gazette.
