New Delhi , the 7th June 1974
S.O. 347 ( E ) .- Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the resignation of Shri H.H. N. Bahuguna ,Bahuguna, a member elected to that House from 56 -Allahabad Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh as determined by the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order , 1966 ;
Now , therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of section 140 of the Repre- sentation of the People Act , 1951 (43 cf 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before 15 July , 1974 , in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person to fill the said vacancy .

एस० श्रो० 347 ( श्र) -श्रत: संसदीय तथा सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों का परि- सीमन आदेश , 1966 द्वारा यथा निर्धारित उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के 56- इलाहाबाद संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री ० एस ० एन ० बहुगुणा के त्याग पक्ष दे दिए जाने के परिणाम स्वरूप उस सदन में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ;
अत :, अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एसद्वारा यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वह ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 15 जुलाई, 1974 से पूर्व उक्त अधिनियम और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और आदेशों के उपबंधों के अनुसरण एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

S.O. 348 ( E ) .-In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints with respect to the bye - election to be held in 56-Allahabad Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /UP - HP/ 1 / 74 ( 1 ) , dated 7 June, 1974-
(a) 14 June, 1974 ( Friday) , as the last date for making nominations;
(b) 15 June , 1974 ( Saturday ) , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
( c) 17 June , 1974 ( Monday ) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candi- datures;
sary, be taken ; and (d) 10 July, 1974 ( Wednesday ) , as the date on which a poll shall , if neces- (e) 15 July, 1974 ( Monday ) , as the date before which the election shall be completed.

एस० श्रो० 348 ( प्र)-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिमियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 30 के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में, निर्वाचन भायोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/उ ० प्र०- लो०स ०/ 1 / 74 ( 1 ) , तारीख 7 जून , 1974 के अनुसरण में 56-इलाहाबाद संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में होने वाले उप निर्वाचन के बारे में :--
(क) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख
14 जून, 1974 ( शुक्रवार)
(ख ) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख
15 जून , 1974 ( शनिवार)
(ग) अभ्यर्थिताएं वापस लेने की अंतिम तारीख
17 जून , 1974 ( सोमवार)
10 जुलाई, 1974 ( बुधवार) (घ ) वह तारीख जिसको, यदि आवश्यक हो, तो मतवान होगा
(ङ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा 15 जुलाई, 1974(सोमवार)
एसद्वारा नियत करता है ।

एस ० श्री० 349 (श्र). लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियमम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/उ ० प्र०- लो ० स ०/ 1 / 74(1) , तारीख 7 जून , 1974 के अनुसरण में 56-- इलाहाबाद संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले उप -निर्वाचन के लिए 8-00 बजे पूर्वात्र से 5-00 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो , मतदान होगा ।
