CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 17th June 1974

G.S.R. 272(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act,, 1944 (1 of 1944) the Central Gov- ernment hereby amends the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 156/71. Central Excises, dated the 26th July, 1971, namely: —

In the Table appended to the said notification, in column (3)—

(a) against S. No. 1, for the words "Nineteen thousand", the words "Twenty- one thousand and seven hundred" shall be substituted; (b) against S.
