In the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Steel and Mines (Department of Mines) No. GSR 241 ( E) dated the 17th May , 1974, published at pages 1037-1038 in the Gazette of India Extraordinary , Part II-800- tion 3-Sub- Section ( 1 ) , at page 1037 , line 9 for " 2 ( il ) " Section" means a section of the Act," read " 2 ( 1 ) " Act" means the Coal Mines ( Nationalisation) Act , 1973. "
