ORDER
New Delhi, the 28th June 1974
S.O. 394(E).—Whereas, in the opinion of the Central Government it is necessary and ex- pedient so to do for maintaining supplies and services essential to the life of the Community;
And whereas, any strike in the warehouses, offices and other establishments of the Central Warehousnig Corporation would prejudicially affect the maintenance of supplies and services essential to the life of the community, it is necessary and expedient to prevent strikes in the warehouses, offices and other establishments of the said Corporation ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 118 of the Defence of India Rules 1971 and in partial modification of the order of the Government of India, in Ministry of the Labour No. S. O. 325 (E), dated the 25th May, 1974, the Central Government hereby prohibits with immediate effect, any strike in connection with any industrial dispute in the warehouses, offices and other establishments of the Central warehousing Corporation wherevar situated for a period of six months.
