G.S.R. 306(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No, 165/72-Central Excise, dated the 9th July, 1972, namely:—
In the said notification, for the figures, letters and word "9th July. 1974", the figures, letters and word "9th October. 1974" shall be substituted.
