G.S.R. 309 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance No. 165/73-Central Excises, dated the 1st September, 1973, the Central Government hereby fixes for woolen yarn specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed and chargeable with the duty ad valorem under Item No. 18 B of the First Schedule to the said Act, the tariff value specified in the corresponding! entry in column (3) of the said Table:—

G.S.R. 310 (E).—In exercise of the powerB conferred by sub-rtk (i) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 and in supersession of the /unification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 166/73-Central Excises, dated the 1st September, 19735 the Central Government hereby exempts woollen yarn falling under Item N o. 18B of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and of the description specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed from so much of duty of excise leviable thereon as is in excess of the duty speeded in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof :—

G.S.R. 311 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-mle(l) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Deparment of Revenue and Insurance) No. 168/72-Central Excjscsj dated the 24th July, 1972, namely:—
