NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th July 1974
G.S.R. 318 (E)/Ess. Com./Sugarcane:—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 11 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by clauses 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the said Order shall be exercisable also by the Governments of the State of Nagaland and the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu and further directs that the following amendments shall be made in the notification of the Government of India, in the late Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 1127/Ess. Com./Sugarcane, dated the 16th July, 1966, namely:—
In the said notification,
(i) after the word "Mysore,", the word "Nagaland,", and
(ii) after the word "Pondicherry," the words "and the Lieutenant Governor of Goa, Daman and Diu"
shall be inserted.
