New Delhi, the 1st August 1974
G.8.R. 359(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Bengal Finance (Sales Tax) Act, 1941 (Bengal Act 6 of 1941), as in force in the Union territory of Delhi, the Central Government hereby makes with effect from the 1st of August, 1974, the following further amendment in the Second Schedule to the said Act, the same having been previously published in the Official Gazette as G.S.R. 331(E), dated the 25th July, 1974 as required by the said sub-section, namely:—
In the second schedule to the Bengal Finance (Sales Tax) Act, 1941 (Bengal Act 6 of 1941), as in force in the Union territory of Delhi, in entries 1 and 2, the brackets and words "(except when sola in. sealed containers)" shall be omitted."
