CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi the 9th August, 1974

G.S.R. 362 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8

of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the

following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in

the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 188/72-

-Central Excises, dated 9th August, 1972, namely,:—

In the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "8th day of

August, 1974", the figures, letters and words "8th day of September,

1974" shall be substituted,
