NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th August 1974
S.0. 488(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by Section 3 of the said Act to make orders under clauses (c), (d), (f), (h), (i) and (j) of sub-section (2) of that section shall, in relation to the cattle fodder of any of the varieties specified in the Schedule hereto annexed, be exercisable also by the Collectors of Ahmedabad, Amreli, Kutch, Kaira, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Jungadh, Danga, Panchmahals, Banaskantha, Broch, Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Rajkot, Broda, Sabarkantha and Surendranagar districts of Gujarat State in their respective districts.
This order shall come into force on the dale of its publication in the Gazette of India a/id shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 31st October, 1974.
