ORDER
New Delhi, the 29th August 1974
S.O. 511(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Com- modities Act, 1935 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to amend the Tractors (Distribution and Sale) Control Order, 1971, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may he called the Tractors (Distribution and Sale) Control (Amendment) Order 1974.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In clause 12, in the first paragraph of sub-clause (1), for the words "'Any Police Officer not below the rank of an Inspector or any other person authorised in this behalf, the words "Any Police Officer not below the rank of Inspector or any other officer of equivalent rank authorised in this behalf" shall be substituted.
