MINISTRY OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

ORDER

New Delhi, the 31st August 1974

S.O. 517(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18G of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) the Central Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Motor Cars (Distribution and Sale) Con- trol Order, 1959, namely:—

1. (1) This Order may be called the Motor Cars (Distribution and Sale) Control (Third Amendment) Order, 1974.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Motor Cars (Distribution and Sale) Control Order, 1959, in clause 2—

After sub-clause (f). following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely:—

"(g) "residence" means the place where •(a) in the case of an individual, he ordinarily resides, and (b) in the case of a company, the registered office of the company is situate". [No. 8/16/73-AEI(I)(III)] S. K. SAHGAL, Jt. Secy. ( 1 7 8 3)
