S.R.O. 40-E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso the sub-
238 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINABY [PART II—SEC. *Jdifficulty hereby extends the term of office of all the elected members of Badami- bagh Cantonment Board up to 16th January, 1975, or the date of notification of elections of their successors in office in the official Gazette, whichever is earlier. S.R.O. 41-E.—In exerciseof the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 16 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government hereby fixes 16th December, 1874 as the date on which elections in Badamibagh Cantonment shall be held.
