NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st Noverhber, 1974
S.R.O. 43-E.—Whereas by the notification of the Government oi India in the Ministry of Defence No. S.R.O. 69, datcj the 5th February, 1974, the Central Government fixed the 22nd April, 1974 as the date on which election in Ward No, I in Jullundur Canton- ment shall be held;
And wherefas election could not be held on the said date in the said Ward as the poll was countermanded under rule 28 of the Cantonments Electoral Rules, 1945;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 16 , of the said Act, the Central Government hereby fixes the 29th December, 1974 as the date on which election in Ward No. 1 in Jullundur Cantonment shall bo held.
