New Delhi, the 16rh January 1975

S.R.O. 1-E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Armed forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947, (15 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares the services of the Port and Dock Workers at all the Major ports in India to be services of vital importance to the community.
