ORDER
New Delhi, the 20th January 1975
S.O. 41(E).--In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (4) read with sub-section (5), of section 53 of the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act, 1971 (81 of 1971), the Central Government hereby directs that the Assam State Electri- city Board, constituted by the Notification of the Government of Assam No PEI-.134/74, dated the 20th January, 1975, and the Meghalaya State Electricity Board constituted by the Notification of the Government of Meghalaya No. PE. 304/74, dated 21st Decem- ber. 1974. shall, with effect from the date of this Oder, take over from the Assam State. Electricity Board, constituted for the composite State of Assam by the Notification of the Government of Assam No. PDEL 60/58, dated the 27th May, 1958, and referred to. in clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 53 of the said Act (hereinafter refined to us the 'composite State Electricity Board), the undertakings, assets, rights and liabilities and; employees of the composite State Electricity Board specified in Part I and Part II respec- i:vcly of the Schedule hereto annexed,
