NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 22nd January .1973
G.S.R. I6(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Food Corpora- tions Act, 1964 (37 of 1964), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Food Corporations Rules, 1965, namely:—
1. (I) These rules may he called the Food Corporations (Amendment) Rules, 1975,
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Food Corporations Rules, 1965,—
(1) in clause (i) of sub-rule (2) of rule E,—
(a) under the heading "B. By Rail", in note III, for the figures and word "32 paise", the figures and word "60 paise" shall be substituted;
(b) under the heading "C. By Road", for the figures and word "32 paise" wherever they occur, the figures and word "60 paise" shall be substituted;
(2) in rule 9,—
(a) in sub-rule (1), for the letters, figures and words "Rs. 20/- per day", the letters, figures and words "Rs. 35/- per day" shall be substituted;
68 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART TT—SEC 3(i)](b) in sub-rule (2), for the figures and words "32 paise per kilometre, subject to maximum of Rs. 15/- per day", the figures, words and letters "60 paisc per kilometre, subject to maximum of Rs. 2 5 /- per day", shall be substituted".
