ORDER
New Delhi, the 5th February 1975
G.S.R. 44 (E)—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expedient so to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity, name- ly fertilizer;
Now, there-fore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Com- modities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufac- turers specified in the schedule given below:
(1) Shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers in the States or Union Territories or to the Commodity Boards mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule fertiliser of the description and quantity mentioned therein during the period lst February, 1975 to 30th April 1975, at the rate of one-third of the quantity specified in the schedule in a month; and
2) Shall submit to the Central Government and the State Government or U.Ts or commodity Boards mentioned in column 1 of the said schedule a statement by the 15th day of every month containing therein:—
(i) the quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Territories and Commodity Boards mentioned in column 1 with the dates of despatch during previous month; and
(ii) the quantity of fertiliser which the said manufacturer propose to despatch to the various dealers in the States, Union Territories and Commodity Boards mentioned in column 1 in the succeeding month.
