New Delhi , the 12th February 1975
G.S.R. 48 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is . necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts each of the articles specified in column (3 ) of the Table hereto annexed and falling under the Items of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934) , specified in column (2) of the said Table , when imported into India, from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the said First Schedule as is in excess of the duty mentioned in the corresponding entry in column ( 4) of the said Table .

सा० फा ० ति ० 48 ( प्र) सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार, अपना यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोक हित में आवश्यक है, इससे उपाबद्ध सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 3 ) में विनिदिष्ट और भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1934 ( 1934 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची की उन मदों के , जो उक्त मारगी के स्तम्भ ( 2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट हैं, अन्तर्गत श्राने वाली प्रत्येक वस्तु को , जब भारत में उसका आयात किया जाए , उस पर उदग्रहणीय सीमा- शुल्क के , उक्त प्रथम अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट उत्तने भाग से छूट देती है , जितना उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 4 ) में की तत्सम्बन्धी प्रविष्टि में वर्णित शुल्क से अधिक हो ।

( ग) ऊष्मा , प्रकाश या ध्वनि का परिमाण माफ्ने बा जांचने के लिए , उपकरण और साधित्र
(उदभासन - मापियों को छोड़कर) ;
(घ) माइक्रोटोम ; और
( ङ) ऐसे उपकरणों और साधितों के पुर्जे ।
