NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th March 1975
G.S.R. 150(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 18 of the Additional Emoluments (Compulsory Deposit) Act, 1974 (37 of 1974) the Central Government hereby directs that any power which may be exercised by it under sub-sections (2) and (3) of Section 20 of the said Act, in so far as they relate to,
(i) inspection of books of account and other books and papers, maintained by an
employer to whom the Act applies;
(ii) making or causing to be made copies thereof; and (iii) placing or causing to be placed any marks of identification there on, in token of the inspection having been made;
shall also be cxercisable by every Regional Provident Fund Commissioner specified in column (2) of the First Schedule to the Additional Emoluments Compulsory Deposit (Employees other than Employees of Government and Local Authorities) Scheme, 1974, within the jurisdiction specified against him in column (3) of that Schedule.
