G.S.R. 164(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Coal Mines (Conservation and Development) Act, 1974, (28 of 1974) the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 1975 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force,
