G.S.R. 298 ( E ) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby directs that the following further amendments shall be made in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Financence ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 49 - Customs , dated the 1st March , 1969 , namely: -
In the Table annexed to the said notification, in the entry in column ( 2 ) against Serial No. 3 , in item ( ii ) :
( a) for the letters and figure " Rs . 1250 / - " the letters and figure " Rs . 1850 / - " shall be substituted ; and
(b ) the words " narrow backing cloth " shall be omitted .

सा० का ० नि ० 298 ( श्र ) -सीमाशुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52) की धारा 25 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार अपना यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोक हित में आवश्यक है , निदेश देती है कि भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं ० 19- सीमाशत्व , तारीख 1 मार्च, 1969 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन किए जाएंगे , अर्थात्:---
उक्त अधिसूचना से उपाबद्ध सारणी मे ,
क्रम सं ० 3 के सामने स्तम्भ ( 2 ) में की प्रविष्टि मे, मद ( ii ) में,
( क ) " 1250 रु ० " अंकों और अक्षर के स्थान पर " 1850 रु ० " अंक और अक्षर रखे जाएंगे , और
( ख) "बारीक पृष्ठक कपड़ा " शब्दो का लोप किया जाएगा ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , and in supersession of the noti- fications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 121 - Customs , dated the 28th October , 1972 , and No. 107 - Customs , dated the 24th July , 1973 , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts palm oil and rape - seed oil , falling under Item No. 15 ( 6 ) of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , when imported into India , from-
(a) so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934) , as is in excess of 30 per cent ad valorem , where the standard rate of duty is leviable;
(b ) so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specifled in the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , as is in excess of 20 per cent ad valorem , where the preferen- tial rate of duty is leviable .
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 31st March , 1976 . [ No. 47 / F . No. 355/ 114 / 74 - Cus.I ]
सा० का ० ति० 299 ( प्र ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार सीमाशुल्क अधिनियम, 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बोमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं ० 121-सीमाशुल्क, तारीख 28 अक्तूबर , 1972 और संख्या 107-सीमाशुल्क, तारीख 21 जुलाई , 1973 को श्रधिक्रान्त करते हुए , अपना यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोक हित में आवश्यक है भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1934 ( 1934 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची के मत्र सं ० 15 ( 6 ) के अधीन आने वाले ताड़ के तेल और श्वेत सरसों के तेल को , जब उसका भारत में श्रायात किया जाए , निम्नत्रिखित से छूट देती है--
( क) जहां शुल्क की मानक दर उग्रहणीय हो , वहां पर उस उग्रहणीय सीमाशुल्क, जो भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1934 ( 1934 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची में THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

विनिदिष्ट है , के उनने भाग से जिनता तीम प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार से अभिन हो;
( ख ) जहां शुल्क की अधिमानी दर उद्ग्रहणीय हो वहां उग १२ उद्ग्रहणीय म.मा- शुल्क , जो भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम, 1934 ( 1934 वा 32) की प्रथम श्रनु- सूची में विनिदिष्ट है , के उतने भाग से, जितना 20 प्रतिशत मुथ्यानुसार से अधिक हो ।
2. यह अधिसूचना 31 मार्च , 1976 तक जिसके अन्तर्गत यह दिन भी है , प्रभावी रहेगी ।

In excrcise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , and in supersession of the noti- fications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) or ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) , as the case may be , No. 33- Customs , dated the 2nd February , 1963 , No. 168 - Customs , dated the 7th December , 1964 and No. 152 - Customs , dated the 22nd July , 1966 , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts soyabean oil, cottonseed oil and sun -flower oil, falling under Item No. 15 ( 16 ) of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) . when imported into India, from-
(a) so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934) , as is in excess of 15 per cent ad valorem , where the standard rate of duty is leviable ;
(b ) so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934) , as is in excess of 5 per cent ad valorem , where the prefer- ential rate of duty is leviable .
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 31st March , 1976 . [ No. 48 / F . No. 355/ 114 / 74- Cus.I ] सा० का० नि ० 300 ( श्र ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, मीम शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 को उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के विल पंत्रानय के यथास्थिति, ( राजस्व विभाग ) या ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्या 33 -सीमाशुल्क , तारीव्र 2 फरवरी , 1963; संख्या 168 -सीमाशुल्क तारीख 7 दिसम्बर, 1964 और संख्या 152-सीमाशुल्क , तारीख 22 जुलाई, 1966 को अविक्रान्त करते हुए , अपना यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोक हित में आवश्यक है भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1934 ( 1934 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची के मद संख्या 15 ( 6 ) के अधीन श्राने वाले सोयाबीन के तेल , बिनीले के तेल और सूर्यमुखी के तेल को , जब उनका भाग्न में श्रायात किया जाए , निम्नलिखित से छूट देती है--
( क ) जहां शुल्क की मानक दर उङ्ग्रहणीय हो, वहां पर उस उङ्ग्रहणीय मीमाशुल्क, जो भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1934 ( 1931 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट है के उतने भाग से जितना 15 प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार से अधिक हो ,
( ब ) जहां शुक की अधिमानी दर उद्ग्रहणीय हो यहां उस पर उग्रहणीय सीमाशुग्व, जो भारतीय टैरिफ श्रधिनियम , 1934 ( 1934 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनसूची मे विनिर्दिष्ट है , के उतने भाग से, जितना 5 प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार मे अधिक हो ।
2. यह अधिसूचना 32 मार्च, 1976 तक जिसके अन्तर्गत यह दिन भी है, प्रभावी रहेगी ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , read with sub- section ( 4 ) of sec- tion 31 of the Finance Act , 1975 ( 25 of 1975 ) , the Central Government , being satis- fled that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts palm oil , rapeseed oil , soyabean oil , sun - flower oil and cottonseed oil , falling under Item No. 15 ( 6 ) of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , when imported into India , from the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon , under sub - section ( 1 ) of section 31 of the said Finance Act .
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 31st March , 1976 .

१० का ० नि ० 301 ( श्र ) -वित्त अधिनियम , 1975 ( 1975 का 25 ) की धार। 31 की उपधारा ( 4 ) के साथ पठित , सीमाशुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उपधार ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार, अपना यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोक हित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , भारतीय टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1934( 1934. 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची की मद सं ० 15 ( 6 ) के अधीन आने वाले , ताड़ के तेल , तिलहन के तेल, सोयाबीन के तेल , सूर्यमुखी के तेल और बिनौले के तेल को , जब उनका भारत में आयात किया जाए , उक्त वित्त अधिनियम की धारा 31 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के अधीन , उन पर उग्रहणीय सम्पूर्ण सहायक सीमाशुल्क से छूट देती है ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , read with sub - section ( 4 ) of sec- flon 31 of the Finance Act , 1975 (25 of 1975 ) , the Central Government , being satis- fled that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby directs that the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance ) specified in column ( 2 ) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3 ) of the said Table .

In the said notification, in condition ( 1 ) , in clause ( j ) , for the words and brackets " The Development Adviser ( Ports ) , Ministry of Transport , in the case of ports " , the words and brackets " The Development Adviser ( Ports ) , Ministry of Shipping and Transport , in the case of ports as well as shipyards " shall be substi- tuted .

उक्त अधिसूचना में , शर्त ( 1 ) में, खण्ड ( क) में " पत्तनों की दशा में विकास सलाहकार ( पत्तन) , परिवहन मंत्रालय " शब्दों और कोष्ठकों के स्थान पर " पत्तनों तथा पोतप्रागण की दशा में बिकास सलाहकार ( पत्तन ) , नौवहन और परिवहन मंत्रालय " शब्द और कोष्ठक रखे जाएंगे ।
