New Delhi, the 1st June 1975

No. DRAWBACK/PN-50/75.-—In the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-33/75. dated 17th February, 1975, published in Part I, Section (1) of the Gazette of India Extraordinary, the Central Government hereby makes the following corrections therein :—

Against sub-serial No. 3614, the word 'iron' mentioned under the description column may be deleted,

No. DRAWBACK/PN-51/15.—Under rule 4 of the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Notification No. 5Z/F. No. 602/2/70-DBK, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-1, dated the 15th October, 1971:—

I. Under the columns "Rate of Drawback" against sub-Serial Nos. 1908, 1910, 1914, 1915 and 1916 for the existing rate, the following rate shall be substituted :—

VI. Under Column 'Rate of drawback' against clause (iv) of sub-serial No. 1924 for Rs. J624.00 (Rupees one thousand six hundred and twenty four ony) per quintal read Rs. 1580.00 (Rupees one thousand live hundred and eighty only) per quintal.

VII. In Column 'Rate of drawback" against sub-serial Nos. 2413 2415(1), 2418, 2419(b) and 2420 for the existing rates of drawback, the following rates of drawback shall be substituted :—•

XI. Under the Column 'Rate of drawback' against sub-clauses (a), (b), (c), (f) and (g) of clause (i) of item (C) of sub-serial No. 2503, for the existing rates of drawback, the following rates of drawback shall be substituted :—

XIII Under Column 'Rate of drawback¹ against sub-serial No. 2511 for the existing rate of drawback, the following rate of drawback shall be substituted:— .

"Rs, 10.60 (Rupees ten and paise sixty only) per kg."

XIV. The existing sub-serial No. 2512 and the entries relating thereto, shall be omitted,

XV. Under Column 'Rate of drawback' against sub-clause (v) of sub-serial No. 2513 for the existing rate of drawback, the following rate of drawback shall be substituted :—

"Rs. 15.00 (Rupees fifteen only) per kg.".

XVI. Under the Column 'Rate of drawback' against clause (1) of sub-serial- No. 2625 for the existing rate of drawback the following rate of drawback shall be substituted ;—

"Rs. 177.00 (Rupees one hundred and seventy seven only) per quintal.".

XVII. For the existing entries against sub-serial No. 2903 the following entries shall be substituted :—
