New Delhi , the 2nd June 1975
No. F. 3 ( 10 ) -NS / 75 . The President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Post Office ( Recurring Deposits ) Rules , 1970 , namely :
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Post Office ( Recurring Deposits ) ( Second Amendment ) Rules , 1975.
( 2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Post Office ( Recurring Deposits ) Rules , 1970 , in rule 11A ,-
( 1) in sub - rule ( 1 ) after the letters and figures " Rs . 10 " , the words , letters and figures " or Rs . 15 or Rs . 20 " , shall be inserted;
( 2 ) for sub - rule ( if ) , the following sub - rule shall be substituted , namely :---
" ( ii ) If a depositor or the surviving depositor , as the case may be, has more than one account of the denomination of Rs . 5 , Rs . 10 , Rs . 15 or Rs . 20 , the benefit of payment under this rule shall be available in respect of only one account which may be specified by the depositortor or surviving depositor , as the case may be . Such depositor may change the option and specify another account if he so destres by an application to the Post Office where the account

stands registered . If no such account has been so specifled h such depositor , the benefit of payment shall be admissible i respect of the earliest account of the denomination of Rs . 20 , 1 any , which qualifies for payment and if there is no such accoun of the denomination of Rs . 20 , then in respect of any one of th earliest account of the denomination of Rs . 15 , Rs , 10 or Rs . which qualifies for payment . "
सं० एक ० 3 ( 10) -एम ० एल०/75.-राष्ट्रपति ने डाकघर ( श्रावर्ती जमा ) नियमावली 1970 में संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित और नियम बनाये हैं:-
जाएंगे । 1. ( 1 ) ये नियम डाकघर ( श्रावर्ती जमा ) ( दूसरा संशोधन ) नियमावली , 1975 कट्टे
( 2 ) ये नियम सरकारी राजपत्न में प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंग ।
2. डाकघर ( श्रवतीं जमा) नियमावली, 1970 के नियम 11 क में
( 1) उपनियम ( i) में अक्षर और शब्द " 10 रुपये " के स्थान पर " या 15 रुपये य. 20 रुपये" शब्द , अक्षर और अंक लिखे जाएँगे ।
( 2 ) उपनियम ( ii ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपनियम रखा जायेगा: -
" ( ii ) यदि जमाकर्ता अथवा उत्तरजीवी जमाकर्ता के, जैसी भी स्थिति हो , 5 रुपये , 10 रुपये , 15 रुपये अथवा 20 रुपये के एक से अधिक खाते हैं तो इस नियम के अन्तगत अदायगी केवल एक खाते पर हो सकेगी जिसका निर्देश जमाकर्ता या उत्तरजीवी जमाकर्ता द्वारा, जैसी भी स्थिति हो, किया गया होगा । उक्त जमाकर्ता यदि चाहे तो उस डाकघर में आवेदन पत्र देकर, जहां खाता पंजीकृत किया गया हो, अपने बताये गये खाते के बजाय कि पी दूसरे खाते का निर्देश कर सकता है । अगर जमाकर्ता द्वारा किसी खाते का निर्देश नहीं किया गया है तो अदायगी 20 रुपये वाले सबसे पहले खोले गये खाते पर , अगर ऐसा कोई खाता हो और जिसकी अदायगी होनी है , की जायगी लेकिन अगर 20 रुपये का कोई खाता न होतो, तो अदायगी 15 रुपये , 10 रुपये और 5 रुपये के किसी एक खाते पर , जो सबसे पहले खोला गया हो और जिसकी अदायगी होनी हो, की जायगी । "

1. ( 1) These rules may be called the Post Office Savings Bank ( Cumulativ Time Deposits ) ( Third Amendment ) Rules , 1975 .
( 2 ) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Officia Gazette .
2. In the Post Office ( Cumulative Time Deposits ) Rules , 1959 , in rule 10A ,- (1) in sub - rule ( i) after the letters and figures " Rs . 10 " , the words , lette and figures " or Rs . 15 or Rs . 20 " , shall be inserted;
(2) for sub - rule ( ii ) , the following sub - rule shall be substituted , namely :- " ( ii ) If a depositor or the surviving depositor , as the case may be , has more than one 5 year account of the denomination of Rs . 5 , Rs . 10, PART I SEC . 1 ] THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

Rs . 15 or Rs . 20 , the benent of payment under this rule shall be available in respect of only one account which may be specified by the depositor or surviving depositor , as the case may be, Such depositor may change the option and specify another account if he so desires by an application to the Post Office where the account stands registered . If no such account has been so specified by such depositor , the benefit of payment shall be admissible in respect of the earliest account of the denomination of Rs . 20 , if any , which qualifles for payment and if there is no such account of the denomination of Rs . 20 , then in respect of any one of the earliest account of the denomination of Rs . 15 , Rs . 10 or Rs . 5 which qualifies for payment . "

सं ० एफ ० 3 ( 10 ) -एन ० एस ० / 75 ( i ) .-- राष्ट्रपति ने डाकघर बचत बैंक ( संचयी सावधि जमा) नियमावली 1959 में संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित और नियम बनाये हैं :--
1. ( 1 ) ये नियम डाकघर बचत बैंक ( संचयी सावधि जमा ) ( तीसरा संशोधन) नियमावली, 1975 कहे जायेंगे ।
( 2 ) ये नियम सरकारी राजपक्ष में प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
2. डाकघर ( संघयी सावधि जमा) नियमावली , 1959 के नियम 10 क में : --
( 1) उपनियम ( 1 ) में अक्षर और शब्द " 10 रुपये " के स्थान पर " या 15 रुपये या 20 रुपये" शब्द , अक्षर और अंक लिखे जायेंगे ।

( ii ) यदि जमाकर्ता अथवा उत्तरजीवी जमाकर्ता के , जसी भी स्थिति हो, 5 रुपये , 10 रुपये , 15 रुपये अथवा 20 रुपये के एक से अधिक 5 वर्षीय खाते हैं तो इस नियम के अन्तर्गत अदायगी केवल एक खाते पर हो सकेगी जिसका निर्देश जमाकर्ता या उत्तरजीवी जमाकर्ता द्वारा , जैसी भी स्थिति ह। , किया गया होगा । उक्त जमाकर्ता यदि चाहे तो उस डाकवर में आवेदन पत्न देकर, जहां खाता पंजीकृत किया गया हो, अपने बताये गये खाते के बजाय किसी दूसरे खाते का निर्देश कर सकता है । अगर जमाकर्ता द्वारा किसी खाते का निर्देश नहीं किया गया है तो अदायगी 20 रुपये वाले सबसे पहले खले गये खाते पर, अगर ऐसा क. ई खाता हो और जिसकी अदायगी होनी है, की जायगी लेकिन अगर 20 रुपये का कोई खाता न हो तो, तो श्रदायगी 15 रुपये , 10 रुपये और 5 रुपये के किसी एक खाते पर , जो सबसे पहले खोला गया हो और जिसकी अदायगी होनी हो, की जायगी । "
