New Delhi , the 11th June 1975
G.S.R. 329 (E ) . In excrcise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts the goods specified in the Schedule below, when imported into India by the Government of India , or by a person authorised by the Government of India , or shipped on the order of a Department of the Government of India , for use in anti - smuggling operations and appropriated under such order at the time of shipment , from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) and the additional duty wherever leviable thereon under section 2A of the second - mentioned Act :
Provided that the importer shall produce a certificate from the Under Secretary to the Government of India , Ministry of Finance , Department of Revenue and Insurance , to the effect that the goods in respect of which the exemption is claimed are intended for use in anti- smuggling operations .

सा० फा० ति ० 329 ( प्र) . सीमाशुल्क अधिनियम, 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोक हित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , नीचे की अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट माल को , तब जब उसका भारत सरकार द्वारा या भारत सरकार द्वारा प्राधिकृत किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा , तस्करी विरोधी अभियान में उपयोग के लिए भारत में आयात किया जाए , या भारत सरकार के किसी विभाग के आदेश पर नौवाहित किया जाए, और नौभरण के समय ऐसे आदेश के अधीन उपयोग में लाया जाए , भारतीय र्टरिफ अधिनियम, 1934 ( 1934 का 32 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची के अधीन उस पर उग्रहणीय सम्पूर्ण सीमाशुल्क से और द्वितीय णित अधिनियम की धारा 2 क के अधीन अतिरिक्त शुल्क से , जहां भी वह उस पर उग्रहणीय है, छूट देती है :
परन्तु आयातकर्ता , भारत सरकार के , वित्त मंत्रालय के , राजस्व और बीमा विभाग के अवर सचिव , से इस आशय का एक प्रमाणपत्र प्रस्तुत करेगा कि वह माल , जिसकी बाबत छूट के लिए दावा किया गया है , तस्करी विरोधी अभियान में उपयोग के आशायित है ।
अनुसूची
1. गश्ती यानों के रख - रखाव के लिए अपेक्षित मशीन, माधित्त्र , उपकरण और उनके संघटक ।
2. बतार प्रेषण और ग्रहण सेट तथा उनके संघटक ।
3. रात में देखने के उपस्कर और उनके संघटक ।
4. आयुध और उनके संघटक तथा गोलाबारूद ।
5. उपर बिनिदिष्ट मदों में से किसी की बाबत स्पेयर पुजे ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of 1962 ) , read with sub -section (4) of Section 31 of the Finance Act , 1975 (25 of 1975 ) , the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance) , No. 35 - Customs , dated the 12th May , 1975 , namely :-
In the Schedule below the said notification , aftor Serial No. 101 and the entrics relating thereto , the following shall be inserted , namely : " 102 No. 60 - Customs , dated the 11th June , 1975. "

सा० का ० नि० 330 ( श्र) . वित्त अधिनियम , 1975 , ( 1975 का 25 ) की धारा 31 क उपधारा ( 1 ) के माथ पठित, सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार, यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोक हित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग) की अधिसूचना सं ० 35 -सीमा शुल्क, तारीख 12 मई, 1975 , में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना के चेि की अनुची में क्रम सं ० 101 और उससे सम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित अन्तः स्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:--
" 102 सं० 60 -सीमा- शुल्क , तारीख 11 जून, 1975 ।"
