MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue and Insurance) NOTIFICATIONS New Delhi, the 11th June 1975
S.O.259(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Gold (Control) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the 'following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. S.O. 3115, dated the 1st September, 1968, namely;—
In the said notification, after the words "of and above the rank of sub-Inspectors", the brackets and words "(but not including the Collector of Central Excise, Jaipur)" shall be inserted,

1342 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ti)} \S.O. 260(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4, read with Section 115, of the Gold (Control) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968), the Central Govern- ment hereby appoints the Collector of Central Excise, Delhi, to be Gold Control Officer for the purpose of enforcing the provisions of the said Act in the State of Rajasthan also.
