G.S.R. 341 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (2) of Section 79 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Baggage Rules , 1970 , namely :-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Baggage (Amendment ) Rules , 1975 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Baggage Rules , 1970 ( hereinafter referred to as the said rules ) , in rule 2-- (i ) the words " and wrist watch " shall be omitted ;
( ii) after words " necessities of life " , the words " and a wrist watch not exceeding five hundred rupees in value " shall be inserted .
3. In rule 6 of the said rules-
(i ) the words " and wrist watch " , in the two places where they occur , shall be omitted;
( ii) for the figures " 500 " and " 1,000 " , the figures " 1,000 " and " 2,000" shall respectively be substituted .

सा ० का ० मि ० 341 ( श्र) -सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 79 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार सामान नियम, 1970 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्ः-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम सामान ( संशोधन ) नियम , 1975 है ।
( 2) ये राजपत्त्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. सामान नियम , 1970 ( जिन्हें इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है । में, नियम 2 में--
( i) "और कलाई घड़ी" शब्दों का लोप किया जाएगा;
(ii) " जीवन की आवश्यकताओं" शब्दों के पश्चात् "और मूल्य में पांच सौ रुपये से अनधिक कलाई घड़ी" शब्द अन्तःस्थापित किए जायेगे ।
3. उक्त नियमों के नियम 6 में
( i ) "और कलाई घड़ी" शब्दों का, उन दोनों स्थानों में , जहां वे आए हैं, लोप किया जाएगा;
( ii) " 500" और " 1000 " अक्रों के स्थान पर, क्रमशः " 1,000" और " 2,000" शब्द रखें जाऐंगे ।

1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Transfer of Residence (Amendment) Rules , 1975 . (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette . 2. In the Transfer of Residence Rules , 1969 , in the Explanation to rule 2, for the figures " 5,000 " and " 1,000 " , the figures " 10,000 " and " 2,000 " shall respectively be substituted .

2. निवास स्थानान्तरण नियम , 1969 में , नियम 2 के स्पष्टीकरण में , " 5,000" और " 1000 " अंकों के स्थान पर क्रमशः " 10,000 " और " 2,000 " अंक रखें जाएंगे ।
