NOTIFICATION
CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi, the 28th June 1975
G.S.R. 362-A(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rules of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance; No. 154/75-Central Excises, dated the 3rd June, 1975, namely:—
In the said notification, in clause (b) of the 'Explanation' below clause (i) of the proviso, for the words, brackets and figures "the manufacturer makes a declaration that he shall not use labels, which are approved by the Collector of Central Excise under sub-rule (3) of rule 71 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, for any other manufacturer", the words, brackets and figures "the manufacturer owning one or more factories in a State or in more than one State makes a declaration that he shall not use lebels which have been approved for any other manufacturer in the said State or States under sub-rule (3) of rule 71 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944," shall be substituted.
