G.S.R. 365(E).—The following Order made by the President is published for general information:—

CO. 100 THE CONSTITUTION (APPLICATION TO JAMMU AND KASHMIR) AMENDMENT ORDER, 1975

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 370 of the Consti- tution, the President, with the concurrence of the Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, is pleased to make the following Order:—

1. (1) This Order may be called the Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Amendment Order, 1975.

(2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In paragraph 2 of the Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 1954, in clause (a) of sub-paragraph (13) (relating to Part XVIII), in clause (4) of article 352, for the words ''unless it is made at the request or with the concurrence of the Government of that State", the following shall be substi- tuted, namely:—

"unless—

(a) it is made at the request or with the concurrence of the Government of that State, or(b) where it has not been so made, it is applied subsequently by the President to that State at the request or with the concurrence of the Government of that State".
