IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 4th July 1975
SUBJECT:—Import of dates (S. No. 21 (b)/1V) from Oman (Muscat) during July '74-June '75 licensing period-Extension in the validity period of licences. No. 62-ITC-(PN)/75.—Attention is invited to Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 49-NTC(PN)/75, dated the 17th June, 1975. It has been decided to amend paragraph 3 of the said Public Notice to read as under:
"3. Licences issued in terms of Public Notice No. 156-ITC(PN)/74, dated 10th October, 1974 whose validity has been extended under this Public Notice will be subject to the condition that not less than 60 per cent of the face value of the licences is to be utilised for import of dates from Oman (Muscat) by Indian Sailing Vessels only and the balance 40 per cent may be imported by other vessels. The import by Indian sailing vessels is obligatory".
