ORDER
New Delhi. the 3rd July 1975
S.O. 308(E).—Whereas in the opinion of the Central Government it is necessary and expedient so to do for maintaining supplies and services essential to the life of the community;
And whereas any strike in the Food Corporation of India would prejudicially affect the maintenance of supplies and services essential to the life of the com- munity it is necessary and expedient to prevent strikes in the said Corporation;
Now, therefore!, on exercise of the powers conferred by rule 118 of the Defence of India Rules, 1971, the Central Government hereby prohibits any strike in connection with any Industrial dispute in the said Corporation for a period of six months with effect the 4th July, 1975.
