S.O. 342 ( E ) . In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the names of the candidates elected to fill the seats in the Council of States of certain members retiring on the 9th July , 1975 , on the expiration of their term of office , are pubilshed for general information: -

Biennial Election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of West Bengal
" In pursuance of the provisions contained in section 66 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , read with clause ( a) of sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 84 of the Conduct of Elections Rules , 1961 , I declare that ;

2. Shri Pranab Kumar Mukhopadhyay of Village and Post Office Kirnahar , District Birbhum .

कॉ० प्रा०342 ( श्र) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 67 के अनुसरण में , निम्नलिखित घोषणा, जिसमें 9 जुलाई, 1975 को , अपनी पदावधि की समाप्ति पर, निवृत्त होने वाले कतिपय सदस्यों के राज्य सभा में स्थानों को भरने के लिए निर्वाचित अभ्यर्थियों के नाम दिये गये हैं, सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित की जाती है :---

"निर्वाचनों का संचालन नियम , 1961 के नियम 84 के उपनियम ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( क) के साथ पठित लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 66 में अन्र्तावष्ट उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में, मैं घोषित करता हूं कि 9 जुलाई , 1975 को, अपनी पदावधि की समाप्ति पर, निवृत्त होने वाले छह सदस्यों के राज्य सभा में स्थानों को भरने के लिए
