New Delhi, the 10th July 1975
S.O, 343 (E).—Whereas elections have been held in pursuance of notification No. S.O. 257 (E), dated the 9th June, 1975, issued under section 12 of the Representa- tion of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose of filling the seats of the members of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of West Bengal and retiring on the 9th July, 1975 on the expiration of their term of office;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the names of the members elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of West Bengal are hereby notified for general Information:—
