New Delhi, the 22nd July 1975
S.O. 374(E).—In pursuance of Section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the President is pleased to call upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Gujarat to elect, in, accordance with the provisions of the said Act and the rules and orders made thereunder, three members to fill the seats of the members of the Council of States who have retired on the 2nd April, 1974 on the expiration of their term of office.
