DELHI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY NOTIFICATION New Delhi, (he 28th July 1975

S.O. 390(E).-—The following modifications which the Central Government proposes to make to the zoning regulations applicable to the residential plots in the Master Plan for Delhi are hereby published for public information. Any person having any objection or suggestion with respect to the proposed modifications may send his objection or suggestion in writing to the Secretary, Delhi Development Authority, Delhi Vikas Bhawan, Indraprastha Estate, New Delhi, within a period of thirty days from the date of this notice. The person making the objection or suggestion should also give his name and full address :—

Modifications

I. On page 55 foot note (3) which reads as under—

"The number of dwelling units on a plot will be reckoned the same as the number of floors permissible plus the number of servants' quarters mentioned above," will be substituted by—

"The number of dwelling units on a plot will be reckoned as in the following table—

III. Page 54—

On page 54, the sub-para (b) :—

"Plots above 250 sq. mts. Ore servants' quarter per dwelling unir." (about 300 sq. yds.) and not ex-

ceeding 500 sq. mts.

(about 600 sq. yds.)

will be read as follows—

"Plots above 250 sq. mts. One servants' quarter per dwelling unit." (about 300 sq. yds.)

IV. Page 55—

On page 55, the sub-paras (c) ard (d), which read as follows, will be deleted :— "(c) Plots above 500 sq. mts. Two servants' quarters per dwelling unit. (about 600 sq. yds.) and rot exceeding 1000 sq. mts. (about 1200 sq. yds.) (d) Plots above rooosq. mts. Three servants' quarters per dwelling unit, (about 1200 sq. yds.).

V. Page 59—

On page 59, after the foot note (5) ard above the words-II "Agricultural Greer Bell" ard Rural" "Use Zones", the following foot rote will be added—

6. 'Group housing' includes construction of a number of dwelling units, without customary division into streets and individual holdings, with a view to ensuring more rational distribution of space and creation of desirable environment. It also includes creation of several dwelling units out of one dwelling unit by partition.

The proposed modifications will be available for inspection at the offic? of the Authority, Delhi Vikis Bhawan, Tndraprastha Estate, New Delhi on all working days, except Saturdays, wilhin the neriod referred to above.
