ORDER
New Delhi, the 30th July 1975
S.O. 394 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 18G of the Industries (Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ), the Centra Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Scooters ( Distribution and Sale ) Control Order , 1960 , namely : -
1. ( 1 ) This Order may be called the Scooters ( Distribution and Sale ) Control ( Second Amendment) Order , 1975 .
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In clause 2 of the Scooters ( Distribution and Sale ) Control Order , 1960 ( hereinafter referred to as the said Order ) , for sub - clause (d ) , the following sub - clause shall be substituted, namely :-
"(d) ' scooter ' means a scooter of any of the descriptions specified below , manufactured or assembled in India , or manufactured in India from components imported into India or manufactured in India , or partly imported and partly manufactured in India :
(i) Bajaj ;
( ii) Lambretta;
( iii ) Vijai Deluxe ; " .

3. In clause 5 of the said Order ,
( i) in sub - clause ( 1 ) , for the words and figures " in the Schedule I , or, as the case may be , Schedule II to this Order" , the words ' in the Schedule to this Order" shall be substituted;
( ii) in sub - clause (2 ) , for the words , abbreviation and figures " a sum not less than Rs . 1,000 in the case of three wheeler and Rs . 500 in any other case " , the words , abbreviation and figures " a sum not less than Rs . 500 " shall be substituted.
4. Clause 7A of the said Order shall be omitted .
5. In Schedule I to the said Order , for the heading , the following heading shall be substituted , namely:
"THE SCHEDULE
See clause 5 ( 1 )
Application for the purchase of scooter" .
6. Schedule II to the said order shall be omitted .

उद्योग प्रौर भागरिक पूति मंत्रालय । ( भारी उद्योग विभाग) आदेश
नई दिल्ली, 30 जुलाई, 1975
का०प्रा ० 394 ( अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , उद्योग ( विकास और विनियन) अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 55 ) की धारा 18 छद्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , स्कूटर ( वितरण और विक्रय ) नियन्त्रण आदेश, 1960 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है, अर्थात्:--
1. ( 1 ) इन आवेश का नाम स्कूटर ( वितरण और विक्रय ) नियन्त्रण ( द्वितीय संशोधन) आदेश , 1975 है ।
( 2) यह राजधत्त में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. स्कूटर ( निरण और विक्रय ) नियन्त्रण आदेश , 1960 ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त आदेश कहा गया है ) के खण्ड 2 में उपखण्ड ( घ ) के थान पर निम्नलिखित उपखण्ड रखा जायेगा , अर्थात्: --
" (घ) स्कूटर' से नीचे विनिर्दिष्ट प्रकारों में से किसी प्रकार का स्कूटर अभिप्रेत है जिसे भारत में विनिर्मित किया गया हो या जोड़ा गया हो या भारत में आयातित या भारत में विनिर्मित घटकों द्वारा विनिर्मित किया गया हो या भागतः आयातित हो और भागतः भारत में विनिर्मित किया गया हो:--
( i ) बजाज ;
( ii ) लम्बेटा;

3. उक्त आदेश के खण्ड 5 में, ---
( i ) उपखण्ड ( 1 ) में , " इस आदेश की यथास्थिति , अनुसूची 1 या अनुसूची 2 में " पात्रों और अंकों के स्थान पर " इस आवेश की अनुसूची में शब्द एवं जाएंगे ।
( ii) उपखण्ड ( 2 ) में ,"तीन पहिए वाली गाड़ी की दशा में 1000 ६० से अन्यून और किसी अन्य दशा में 500 रु ० से अन्यून की दराशि" शब्दों, अंकों और संक्षेपाक्षर के स्थान पर " 500 रु ० से अन्यून की राशि अंक, संक्षेपाक्षर और शब्द रखें जाएंगे ।
4. उक्त आदेश के खण्ड 7क का लोप किया जाएगा ।
उक्त आदेश की अनुभुची 1 में, जीर्षक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा, 5. अर्थात्: -- अनुसूसी खण्ड 5 ( 1 ) देखिए स्कूटर के क्रय के लिए आवेदन
6. उक्त आदेश की अनुसूची 2 का लोप किया जाएगा
