(RUBBER CONTROL)
New Delhi, the 30th July 1975
S.O. 395(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 12 of the Rubber Act, 1947 (24 of 1947) and in supersession of the notification of the Government: of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 162, dated the 13th January, 1961, the Central Government hereby appoints the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette as the date from which the duty of excise at the rate of forty paise per kilogram of rubber shall be levied as cess on all rubber produced in India.
