NOTIFICATION
CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 4th August 1975
G.S.R. 437 ( E ) .--In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , namely :-
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Central Excise ( Eleventh Amendment ) Rules , 1975 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , in rule 2,-
(a) in clause ( ii ) (A )---
(i) for sub-clause ( f) , the following sub - clause shall be substituted , namely :-
"(f) in the districts of Calcutta , 24 - Pargana . Howrah and Midnapur of the State of West Bengal and in the Union territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands , the Collector of Central Excise , Calcutta ; " ;
( ii ) after sub- clause ( x) , the following sub- clause shallbe inserted , namely :
"(y) in the State of Orissa , the Collector of Central Excise , Bhubneshwar. " ;

(b) in clause tiin ) , far sub - clauses (b ) and ( c) , the following sub- clauscs shall respectively be substituted , namely :-
"( b) in relation to an order or Jecision of an officer of Central Excise subordinate to the Collector of Ceatral Excise , Delhi ; Collector of Central Excise , Jaipur; Collector of Central Excise, Chandigarh ; Collector of Central Excise , Allahabad ; Collector of Central Excise , Kanpur and in relation to an order or decision of an officer of Central Excise posted in the State of Madhya Pradesh and subordinate to the Collector of Central Excise , Nagpur , the Appellate Collector of Central Excise , Delhi ;
(c) in relation to an order or decision of an officer of Central Excise subordinate to the Collector of Central Excise , Calcutta ; Collector of Central Excise , West Bengal . Calcutta ; Collector of Central Excise , Bhubneshwar ; Collector of Central Excise , Shillong and Collector of Central Excise , Patna , the Appellate Collector of Central Excise, Calcutta; " .

सा० का ० नि० 437 ( अ ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क और नमक अधिनयम 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 37 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद-खुल्ल नियम, 1944 में और संशोधन करने के लिये निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क (ग्यारहवां संशोधन ) नियम, 1975 है
( 2 ) यं राजभव में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क नियम , 1944 में, नियम 2 मेंः-
(क) खण्ड ( 11 ) ( क ) में--
( i) उपखण्ड ( च ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपखंड रखा जायगा , अर्थात्:--
" (च) पश्चिमी बंगल राज्य के कलकत्ता, चौवीस परगना, हावड़ा और मिदनापुर जिलों में तथा अन्दमान श्रौर निकोबार द्वीप के संच राज्य क्षेल में, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, कलक्टर कलकत्ता ;
(ii ) उपखंड (म) के पश्चात्, निम्नलिखित उपखण्ड अन्तःस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:--
"( म) उड़ीसा राज्य में , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर, भुवनेश्वर । ;
(ख) खण्ड ( क) में उपखंड (ख) और ( ग ) के स्थान पर, क्रमशः निलिखित उपखंड रखे जाएंगे, अर्थात्ः--
"(ख) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर, दिल्ली; केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर , जयपुर ; केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , कलक्टर , चण्डीगढ़, केन्द्रीय उत्पाय-शुल्क , कलक्टर THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

इलाहाबाद।: केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर , कानपुर के अधीनस्थ किसी केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिकारी के किसी आदेश या विनिश्चय के संबंध में और मध्य प्रदेश में नियुक्त तथा केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शूल्क कलक्टर , नागपुर के अधीनस्थ किसी केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिकारी के किसी आदेश या विनिश्चय के संबंध में, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अपीली कलक्टर , दिल्ली ;
(ग ) उत्पाद- शुल्क कलक्टर, कलकत्ता; केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर , पश्चिमी बंगाल, कलकत्ता; केन्द्रीय उत्पाद -शुल्क कलक्टर भवनेश्वर ; केन्द्रीय उत्पाद -शुल्क कलक्टर शिलांग और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर , पटना के अधीनस्थ किसी केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क अधिकानी के किसी आदेश मा निनिश्चम के संबंध में, केन्द्रीम उत्पाद- शुल्क, अपीली कलक्टर , कलकत्ता;
