New Delhi, the 4th August 1975

S.O. 416 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Tele- graph Wires (Unlawful Possession) Act, 1950 (74 of 1950) the Central Govern- ment hereby directs that the following Rules shall extend to, and come into force in, the State of Sikkim with effect on and from the 4th of August, 1975, namely:— (1) The Rules for the Prevention of Unlawful Possession of Telegraph

Wires.

(2) The Telegraph Wires (Permission for Sale and Purchase) Rules, 1954.
