G.S.R 445(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 31 of the Finance Act 1975 (25 of 1975), the Central Government, being satisfied that it; is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts phosphoric acid falling under Item No. 28 (16) of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act, 1934 (32 of 1934), when imported into India for the manu- facture of fertilisers, from the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under sub-section (1) of section 31 of the said Finance Act.
