NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th August. 1975
S.O. 450(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the International Airports Authority Act, 1971 (43 of 1971), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further the amend the International Airports Authority Rules, 1972, namely:—
1. (i) These rules may be called the International Airports Authority (Amendment) Rules, 1975.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the International Airports Authority Rules, 1972, for rule 6, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—
"6. Investment of funds.—The Authority may invest its funds (including any re- serve fund) in the securities of the Central Government or in fixed deposits with the State Bank of India constituted under the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955) or any subsidiary bank constituted under the State Bank of India subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959 (38 of 1959), or any corresponding new bank specified in the First Schedule to the Banking Companies Acquis- ition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 (5 of 1970)."
