New Delhi , the 28th August 1975
3.0 . 455 (E) -Whereas the industrial undertaking known as M/ s . Britannia Engineer- ing Company , Calcutta (Titagarh Unit ) in the State of West Bengal is engaged in the Scheduled Industries , namely , Railway Rolling Stock and Tea Machinery ;
And whereas the Company owning the said industrial undertaking , namely , the Britannia Engineering Company Limited is being wound up by the Calcutta High Court;
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary in the interests of the general public and in particular, in the interests of production , supply and distribution of articles relatable to the concerned scheduled industries , to investigate into the possibility of re - starting the said industrial undertaking;
And whereas on an application made by the Central Government under section 15A of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) , to the Calcutta High Court praying for permission to make an investigation into such possibility , the Calcutta High Court has granted the permission;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 15A of the Industries (Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry and Civil Supplies ( Department of Heavy Industry ) No. S.O. 231 (E ) dated the 26th May . 1975 the Central Government hereby appoints , for the purpose of making an investigation into the possibility of re

starting the aforesaid Industrial undertaking , a body of persons consisting of:

(1 ) Shrl R. J. Shahaney, Managing Director , Jessops and Company Limited , Calcutta.
( ii) General R. N. Sen , Managing Director , Braithwaites and Company (1) Limited . The above body shall submit its report by the 31st August , 1975 .

नई दिल्ली, 28 अगस्त , 1975
का० ग्रा० 455 ( प्र ) पश्चिमी बंगाल राज्य में मेसर्स ब्रिटेनिया इंजीनियरिंग कम्पनी, कलकत्ता ( टीटागढ़ यूनिट ) के नाम से ज्ञात औद्योगिक उपक्रम अनुसूचित उद्योग अर्थात् रेलवे रोलिंग स्टाक और चाय मशीन में लगा है ।
और उक्त औद्योगिक उपक्रम, अर्थात् ब्रिटेनिया इंजीनियरिंग कम्पनी लिमिटेड का स्वामित्व रखने वाली कम्पनी का कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय द्वारा परिसमापन किया जा रहा है ;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार की राय है कि लोक हित में , विशेषकर सम्बद्ध अनुसूचित उद्योगों से सम्बन्धित वस्तुओं के उत्पादन , पूर्ति और वितरण के हितों में, उक्त प्रौद्योगिक उपक्रम के पुनः आरम्भ करने की संभावना की जांच करने की आवश्यकता है ;
भौर केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा उद्योग ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 65 ) की धारा 15 क के अधीन कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय को, ऐसी संभावना की जांच करने की अनुशा के लिए प्रार्थना करते हुए, आवेदन किये जाने पर , कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय ने अनुज्ञा दे दी है ;
श्रतः , अब , उद्योग ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 65 ) की धारा 15क द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के उद्योग और नागरिक पूर्ति मंत्रालय ( भारी उद्योग विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्या का० श्रा० 231 ( श्र ) तारीख 26 मई, 1975 को अधिक्रान्त करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , पूर्वोक्त औद्योगिक उपक्रम के पुनः आरम्भ करने की संभावना की जांच करने के प्रयोजनार्थ एक निकाय नियुक्त करती है जिसमें निम्नलिखित व्यक्ति होंगे ।
