ORDER
New Delhi, the 29th August 1975
S.O. 458(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing Order further to amend the Paper (Conservation and Regulation of Use) Order, 1974, namely :•—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Paper (Conservation and Regulation of Use) Amendment Order, 1975.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. In clause 2 of the Paper (Conservation and Regulation of Use) Order, 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order),.—
(i) sub-clauses (b), (c), (e) and (g) shall be omitted; (ii) in sub-clause (i), for the words "and speciality paper" the words "speciality paper, art paper, imitation art paper and chromo paper" shall be substituted.
3. In clause 3 of the said Order—
(a) for sub-clauses (ii) and (iii) the following sub-clauses shall be substituted, namely :—
"(ii) a diary, if the total surface of the pages meant for making a daily record of events exceeds 63,000 square centimetres;
[ #$ THB GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC, 3(ii)](iii) a calendar on any paper if the surfaoe area of one side of a sheet, or where there are more than one sheet, the aggregate surface area of one side of such sheets, exceeds 8700 square centimetres;";
(b) sub-clause (iv) shall be omitted.
4. Clause 5 of the said Order shall be omitted.
