NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 8th September 1975

S.O. 478(E).—In pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs No. S.O. 208 (E), dated the 16th May, 1975, the Central Gov- ernment hereby appoints the 1st day of October, 1975 as the date on which the Civil Defence Act, 1968 (27 of 1968), shall come into force in the State of Sikkim.

S.O. 479(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Civi] Defence Act, 1968 (27 of 1968), the Central Government hereby directs that the Civil Defence Rules 1968 shall extend to, and come into force in, the Slate of Sikkim with effect on and from the 1st day of October, 1975.
