NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 12th September 1975
S.O. 505(E).—WHEREAS it appears to the Central Government that coal is likely to be obtained from the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto annexed:
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal therein.
The plan of the area covered by this notification can be inspected at the office of the Na- tional Coal Development Corporation Limited (Revenue Section)) Darbhanga House, Ranchi or at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Giridih (Bihar), or at the office of the Coal, Controller, 1, Council House Street, Calcutta.
All persons interested in the land covered by this notification shall deliver all maps, charts and other documents referred to in sub-section (7) of section 13 of the said Act to the Revenue Officer, National Coal Development Corporation Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi, within 90 days from the date of publication of this notification.

2056 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)jS.O. 506(E).—In exercise of tho powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Area* (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Steel and Mines, (Department of Mines and Metals) No. S.O. 1950 dated the 29th May, 1969, publlthed at pages 1123 to 1126 in Part II, Section 3, sub-section (ii) of the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated the 31st May, 1967.
