G.S.R. S17(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amend- ment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart- ment of Revenue and Insurance) No. 190/75-Centra) Excises, dated the 30th August, 1975, namely:—

In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, after item No. 16, the following items shall be inserted, namely:— "17. 2-Ethyl Hexanol.

18. Butanol.
